Lamp Berge

These lamps have originated in France over 100 years ago. Originally designed to be use to purify the air in hospitals, they have evolved into an aesthetic and functional piece for the home or office.

How does the Lamp Berge work?

This patented lamp works to purify the air and remove unpleasant odors such as cooking smells, smoke, mustiness, pet odors, and more. It does this by releasing molecules into the air that capture and destroys these odors which are then replaced with one of a wide array of fragrances. In addition to purifying the air, Lamp Berge lamps increase oxygen levels in the air and have insect repelling properties

How to Use the Lamp

The lamp is easy to use. Ensure that is placed on a stable surface away from a heat source.

  1. Pour the fragrance oil into the lamp about ½ to 2/3 full.
  2. Insert the wick and put the cap on the lamp.
  3. Let the wick absorb the oil for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove the cap and light the wick.
  5. Let the flame burn for two minutes and then blow it out.
  6. The lamp is now operating. Place the openwork shade on the lamp. Ensure that the flame is out before doing this.
  7. It is recommended that you allow the lamp to burn for 25 to 45 minutes.
  8. When you are ready to “turn off” the lamp, take the shade off and place the cap back on the lamp.

The Fragrances

You can fill your Berge Lampe with any number of fragrances. These fragrances have been developed specifically for this lamp. Currently, there are more than 50 scents to choose from including exotic, floral, warm notes, amber tones, and more. If you are sensitive to scents, you can opt for the neutral unscented solution.
